As the business matured and client retention soared, AiSDR saw an opportunity to build brand trust, increase discoverability, and connect with more in-market buyers.

This desire led them to G2, a platform Karnaukh had seen success with in a past role.

The Challenge: Earn Trust, Not Just Clicks

In a market crowded with AI tools, standing out for AiSDR was about more than reach—it was about trust.

After researching buyer behavior, AiSDR zeroed in on G2. Unlike other review websites, G2 stood out as the platform buyers turned to in the final stages of software evaluation.

With G2 in focus, AiSDR’s goals were clear:

  1. Generate new leads with high intent
  2. Increase brand awareness and reputation
  3. Counter the misconception that AiSDR tools don’t work

But rather than start with a full G2 subscription, they explored a leaner test by beginning with G2 Clicks, G2’s pay-per-click (PPC) advertising platform.

“We were looking for a softer entry-way into paid platform capabilities, with more control over spend and a shorter-term commitment before jumping into a subscription,” Karnaukh explained.

Proof of Concept: Validating G2 with PPC

Karnaukh’s past experience had taught her to be cautious with ad spend.

“We keep our ad campaigns to the bare minimum. We’ve experimented with other ad platforms, but saw mixed results and little to show for the ad spend. G2 looked like a more solid choice because leads checking software reviews typically have a need and intent to buy.”

Skepticism faded quickly once the team set up G2 Clicks in the dashboard.

“The upfront estimates for expenses for each category and hard cap on spend won me over,” Karnaukh admitted.

In January 2025, AiSDR kicked off a three-month proof of concept using G2 Clicks.

The Results: 6.7% Conversion Rate and Real Buyer Interest

It didn’t take long to see results. G2 Clicks quickly became one of AiSDR’s top-performing sources, converting 6.7% of visitors into leads—outpacing nearly every other active campaign.

The efficiency gains were just as strong as the lead quality.

“On average, our cost per action (CPA) was 25–30% lower with G2 than other paid channels,” Karnaukh said. “And the leads were converting. Our LTV to CAC ratio was around 4:1, which gave us real confidence in the channel.”

G2 Clicks also delivered 3–5x more efficient cost per lead and required far less manual effort compared to other platforms.

The experience itself was also refreshingly simple.

“We didn’t need to rack our brains writing ad copy or generating assets. Our G2 profile was the advertisement.”

The Upgrade: Why AiSDR Upgraded to a G2 Subscription

Encouraged by the performance of Clicks, the team saw everything necessary to move forward with a G2 subscription.

Karnaukh brought in CEO Yuriy Zaremba to help make the case. As with any CEO, Zaremba’s focus was on ROI and the tangible value unlocked through the upgrade.

The winning features for AiSDR included:

  • An upgraded profile with a more professional, trustworthy look
  • Custom call-to-action (CTA) buttons to drive traffic
  • Access to leverage G2 Badges for credibility

By April 2025, AiSDR made the move to a Core subscription.

“It was important to show we’re here to stay. The upgraded profile made us look more established and trustworthy, which is critical in this market,” said Karnaukh.

Life with a Subscription + G2 Clicks

With the upgraded profile in place, AiSDR began layering G2 into their sales workflows. They added G2 Badges and reviews to their website, synced with HubSpot, and started tracking how G2 activity tied directly to revenue impact.

“The HubSpot integration was a great surprise,” Karnaukh said. “It gives us the data we need to justify our G2 investment, and it was easy to set up.”

While still early in their subscription journey, AiSDR is already seeing G2 emerge as a core part of their inbound engine. G2 is now a top-five traffic source, and the team continues to run supplemental ads through G2 Clicks—with plans to increase budget.

“Honestly, we just want to keep doing what’s working, and G2 is working.”
