It’s hard to believe that G2’s iconic badges have been around for nearly a decade! Over the years, they’ve become synonymous with quality products and customer trust.
But with time comes change and innovation. That’s why we’re excited to announce our G2 Badge redesign. With a sleek, modern design, the newly refreshed G2 badges will replace all current badge styles in 2025 and beyond.
Be on the lookout: we’ll be introducing new Best Software badges at our annual Best Software Awards, with the remaining badges to be fully rolled out in the Spring 2025 Reports.
In the meantime, we’re taking a look back at 2024 G2 Badges and some of the most creative ways companies have showcased them.

Here’s how it works: The G2 Score determines your placement on the G2 Grid Report, which then influences your eligibility for badges. To earn a G2 Badge, a product must meet specific thresholds for both customer satisfaction and market presence.
Additionally, to qualify for G2’s Software Sellers or Software Products 'Best Of' lists, your product needs at least 50 approved and published reviews during the evaluation period.
