No. G2 Ads work with any profile tier, including free profiles. That said, ads perform better when you have 50+ reviews and an upgraded profile since those elements appear in your ad unit.

How is this different from my G2 subscription?

Your G2 subscription (Professional/Enterprise) gives you organic visibility, lead capture, and profile features. G2 Ads are paid placements that appear in sponsored positions to boost visibility beyond your organic presence. Many customers use both together.

What if my category is very competitive?

For highly competitive categories, we recommend Paid Promotions over G2 Clicks to guarantee your share of impressions. Otherwise your ads may not get served as frequently. We can help you assess your category during setup.

Can I advertise on my competitor’s profile?

Yes. With G2 Clicks, you can choose to advertise on specific competitor profile pages and alternatives pages. This is one of the most popular use cases.

How do I know if it’s working?
